Diversified Classrooms + Immersive Learning, A New Attempt at On-site Teaching of Ideological and Political Courses

In order to deepen the teaching comprehensive reform of the Two Points and Two Specialties of ideological and political courses and improve the practical effect of moral education, on the morning of November 24, Associate Professor Liu Bing led the students from the College of Future Technology to Heilongjiang Provincial High People’s Court to carry out on-site teaching of “Ideological Ethics and Rule of Law” course. This activity enriched students’ perceptual understanding, stimulated students’ enthusiasm for active learning, deepened students’ understanding of teaching content, and improved students’ ability to use law through on-site visits, on-site lectures, and three-party interaction.

 

 

The tour included the Party building hall of Heilongjiang High Peoples Court, science and technology Court, digital library, press conference hall, meeting room of the review committee and other places. Associate Professor Liu Bing used comprehensive teaching methods to give a live lecture on the topic of Upholding the Rule of Law in an all-round Way from different perspectives. The diverse classrooms brought students an immersive learning experience, and students generally reported that they had a deeper understanding and knowledge of the teaching content.

 

In this on-site teaching activity, the teaching process was orderly, serious and lively, the theme was prominent, and the teaching effect was remarkable, which had been unanimously praised by the students. In the after-class sharing session, the students said that they should “know the law, study the law, abide by the law, and use the law to become a new era of college students with the rule of law”, “make good use of the law to solve problems in real life”, “learn the national security law well, and adhere to the legal bottom line in scientific research.”

 

 

 In the next step, the College of Marxism will continue to promote the comprehensive reform of “two points and two majors” teaching, highlight the characteristics of the school’s ship and sea, create high-quality ideological and political courses, and further enhance the effectiveness of moral education.
