To actively respond to the Global Governance Initiative (GGI) proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, an international academic conference themed "Exchanges and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations Under the Global Governance Initiative" hosted by the School of Marxism was successfully held in Sanya City on October 24^th.. More than 100 teachers and students participated both online and offline.

12 Chinese and international scholars engaged in interdisciplinary dialogue, constructing an academic landscape characterized by "profound theories, broad perspectives, and compassionate practice." Ultimately, they reached a core consensus on "respecting the diversity of civilizations and strengthening people-to-people and cultural exchanges." As a pilot unit for the Ministry of Education’s comprehensive reform initiative of "Cultivating Morality and Fostering People" and the leading institution of Heilongjiang Province’s Consortium for the Integration of Ideological and Political Theory Courses (IPTC) across Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Education, the School of Marxism at Harbin Engineering University has actively explored pathways for practical application. It will deeply integrate the ideological achievements of this conference into IPTC teaching, infusing ideological and political education with an international perspective and academic vitality. This conference not only stands as a vivid practice of Sino-foreign cultural exchange but also injects solid and enduring academic momentum into promoting global governance innovation and building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.
