With the aim of thoroughly applying the guiding spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important directives on ideological and political courses, and advancing the integrated reform and innovation of these courses from primary to university level, the 14th National Forum on their integrated construction kicked off at the university on October 12. Over 200 experts, scholars, ideological and political course teachers from all school stages and postgraduates in Marxist Theory nationwide gathered here to exchange ideas on the innovative development of the integrated construction of these courses.

Co-organized by the National Alliance for the Integrated Construction of Ideological and Political Courses (from primary to university level) and Harbin Engineering University (Heilongjiang’s leading institution for the Ministry of Education’s IPTC Integration Consortium), the forum successfully took place.

 All participating experts and scholars agreed that the forum was brilliant and yielded substantial achievements. The integrated development of ideological and political courses from primary to university level is a major strategic deployment by the Party Central Committee to advance the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory education in the new era. As a crucial approach to fulfilling the core task of moral education and talent cultivation, it is also a complex and     challenging systematic project. It calls for enhanced collaboration among educational authorities, IPTC teachers across all school stages and other relevant parties  to push forward the integrated reform and innovation of these courses in a deeper and more pragmatic manner.
